About this product
The DMV® 45™ is most commonly used for removal of scleral lenses and rigid gas permeable lenses, but can also be used for the insertion of those lenses. Differing from the DMV Ultra, the handle is offset 45 degrees from the cup and insertion pads.

Product Usage
For easy removal of rigid gas permeable contact lenses.
REMOVAL: Compress the handle of the DMV® 45 Lens Handler and carefully center it squarely on the contact lens. Release the compression to allow the suction cup to grip the lens. Gently lift the lens off the eye.
INSERTION: Place a moistened lens onto the suction cup, then carefully position over the eye and release.
The DMV® 45 (angled edge) was developed to improve viewing of the eye while removing and inserting RGP lenses. The handle is angled at 45 degrees for better viewing.
PRECAUTION: In the event of mistaken application of the DMV Lens Handler to the eye, merely squeeze the handle to release suction. Should the lens resist removal from the eye, release the Handler by squeezing the bulb and consult your eye care practitioner for alternate removal process.
Do not use with diseased, injured or otherwise compromised corneas.

CHOKING HAZARD: Keep this product and its case away from small children.
Care: All contact lens removal devices should be regularly cleaned with soap/water or contact lens solution and then left out to air dry. It is recommended that these are strictly replaced 6 monthly to prevent infection and bacterial build up on the plunger/sucker.
