Product Usage

Adults: 1 drop 3 to 4 times daily or as directed by the physician.

Children: under medical supervision only.

For external use only.

How to use:

1. Wash your hands before applying Viscotears Gel, and make sure to remove contact lenses if you wear them. Contact lenses can be reinserted after an interval of at least 30 minutes.

2. Hold the vial vertically and tilt your head back, then gently pull down your lower eyelid with a finger while looking up.

3. Squeeze the vial to apply one drop, then blink to disperse the gel evenly over your eye.

4. Wipe away any excess, then repeat the process for your other eye if necessary.

When stored properly (below 25°C), Viscotears has a shelf life of 28 days after opening, and up to 36 months when unopened.

Do not use Viscotears Liquid Gel later than four weeks after first opening.

If you wear contact lenses, you should remove them before using Viscotears and wait at least 15 minutes before putting your lenses back in. A preservative in Viscotears (cetrimide) may cause eye irritation and is also known to discolour soft contact lenses.

If you experience eye pain, vision changes, irritation of the eyes, persistent redness, or if the condition worsens or persists, discontinue use and consult your doctor.

If you are using other eye drop or eye ointment medicines, wait at least 5 minutes between each medicine. Viscotears should always be the last eye drops used.
