This hot and cold eye mask features our patented 'Sterileyes' technology, which acts as an antibacterial shield on the compress, clinically proven to reduce potentially harmful bacteria by up to 99.99%. Thanks to POLYGIENE' Stay-Fresh Technology, our patented solution is bound to the fibres of the fabric to protect the eyes from potentially harmful bacteria. This fabric is antimicrobial to the three leading causative microorganisms of eye infections and that associated with Dry Eye development.
Filled with BodyBeads self-hydrating technology, The Eye Doctor Essential® antibacterial, reusable hot and cold eye compress is a natural way to soothe pain caused by various eye conditions, and can be used in excess of 200 times.

How does The Eye Doctor Essential® work?
The Eye Doctor Essential® antibacterial, reusable hot and cold eye mask externally heats the eyelids, which stimulates the glands to give relief from any tension or irritation of the eyes. There is strong scientific research showing that gently heating the eyelid to the recommended temperature will help treat various conditions, including but not limited to dry eyes, blepharitis and MGD.

Product Usage
Hot Use (for Dry Eye, Blepharitis, MGD, Chalazion, Styes):
1. Lay The Eye Doctor® flat in a clean microwavable dish. Do not place directly onto a grill stand.
2. For Microwave use only. Do not overheat.
3. Take care when removing from the microwave.
4. Always check the temperature before putting it on your eyes by touching the heated mask to the inside of your wrist.
5. Apply The Eye Doctor® to your closed eyes. Fasten the strap around your head and adjust for personal comfort.
6. Sit back and relax for 7 to 10 minutes.
Step 2: Massage the Eyelid
For the upper eyelids: Slide your finger in a downward fashion. This is to apply pressure from the eyebrow downwards to the eyelashes of the upper lids.
For the lower eyelids: Slide your finger upwards towards the eyelashes of your lower lids.
Step 3: Wipe the eyelids / lashes
Wipe away any secretions using The Eye Doctor® Lid Wipes.
Cold Use (for Hay Fever, Allergies, Puffy Eyes, Sinus Headaches, Migraines):
Place the mask in the freezer. Once cooled, place over closed eyes to reduce puffiness, swelling, or inflammation.
Important Care:
- Keep out of sight and reach of children.
- The Eye Doctor® MUST only be heated from room temperature.
- To distribute heat effectively and to prevent hot spots, shake immediately after heating and before use to ensure even distribution of the BodyBeads® inside the mask.
- Never wet or wash The Eye Doctor®. Wipe clean only with a damp cloth, do not use detergent. If it accidentally gets wet, leave to air dry & then use as normal.
