The DMV Scleral Cup is most commonly used for the insertion of scleral lenses, hybrid lenses, and soft contact lenses. It can also be used for the insertion and removal of prosthetic eyes.

Product Usage
The DMV® Vented Scleral Cup is an aid for INSERTION of hybrid contact lenses and large scleral lenses.
FOR INSERTION:
1. Follow lens preparation instructions provided by your eye care practitioner and lens manufacturer.
2. Place the lens in the DMV Vented Scleral Cup front side down.
3. Fill the lens with contact lens solution approved by your eye care professional.
4. Use the Vented Scleral Cup to guide the lens straight onto the eye in a stable manner, avoiding dropping the lens from your finger.
5. The vented design allows air to enter the suction cup, enabling controlled release.
Note: The DMV Vented Scleral Cup has a completely hollow shaft (without the same ability to control suction as the standard DMV Scleral Cup).
This tool is NOT USED FOR REMOVAL of hybrid lenses. The manufacturer (DMV Corp.) does not recommend any of their tools for removal of hybrid lenses.
Cleaning: All contact lens removal devices should be regularly cleaned with soap/water or contact lens solution and then left out to air dry. Replace 6 monthly to prevent infection and bacterial build-up.
Warnings:
- This tool is for INSERTION ONLY (not used for removal of hybrid lenses).
- ALLERGY WARNING: May contain natural rubber latex.
- CHOKING HAZARD: Keep this product away from small children.
- Please ask your doctor for advice on removal technique.
