Product Usage

For use by trained eye care professionals only.

Setting up the Meivertor Starter Kit:

1. Unbox the Meivertor stainless-steel handle and the package of single-use disposable silicone tips.

2. Sterilise the handle as required (autoclavable) before first use and between patients.

3. Attach a fresh disposable silicone tip to the stainless steel Meivertor handle.

4. Ensure the tip is securely seated using the tongue-and-groove gripping feature.

Performing eyelid eversion:

1. Gently position the device against the upper or lower eyelid, ensuring the silicone tip securely grips across the eyelashes.

2. Flip the lid with a single hand while keeping the other hand free for imaging or treatment.

3. Capture the meibomian gland image with the meibographer using the free hand, or perform required clinical procedure (foreign body removal, concretion removal, lens fitting).

4. Dispose of the used tip after each patient to maintain hygiene and prevent cross-contamination.

Care: Clean the stainless steel handle with appropriate disinfectant or sterilise between patients. Disposable silicone tips are single-use only.

Lifetime: The stainless steel handle is reusable indefinitely with proper care. Disposable tips are single-use.
